The Plastic Aztecs proudly present their third collaborative show entitled GROW. This theme encompasses many ideas for the group, including their obsessions with natural growth, vegetation and crystallization. It is also a symbol for the group as a whole; since 2008 the collective itself has branched from it’s two founding artists to it’s current four. GROW will be an original happening on the path to artistic maturity and influence.
Through their installations the Atlanta based collective attempts to fill new gaps of understanding and promote creative thinking. All members of the group actively pursue their own artistic and creative interests yet combine their artistic forces to create something beyond them all as individuals. The line up currently involves Erin Basset, Becky Furey, Andrea Sanders, and Dorothy Stucki. No two shows are the same and they are all built around an idea – which is attacked by all members to become a physical space for you to explore and enjoy.
