Fright at the Museum Annual Hallow’s Eve Ball @CAM (the Contemporary Art Museum) Downtown Raleigh NC — Saturday 10.29.11

CAM Raleigh is being invaded this Halloween! New Raleigh (and PBR!) presents FRIGHT AT THE MUSEUM Annual Hallow’s Eve Ball hosted by CAM/Now. Come to the warehouse district for a night of:

  • Dancing
  • Local favorite DJs: Jon Yu, Yes! sputnik, and Discovery DJ’s Nixxed and Hidden Cat
  • Over-the-top photo booth
  • Costume contest
    • Celebrity judges: Aly and Beth Khalifa of Design Box and SPARKcon; and the very talented Toola
    • Amazing prizes created by Triangle area artist: Leo Gaev, Christian Karkow, Ian Pause, Sarah Powers, Scott Reeder
    • Costume Categories: Wicked Funny, Least Likely to Take Home to Mom, Best Group/Couple, Most Creative and Wild Card (Judges Choice)
  • Great local food provided and drinks (cash bar)
  • Pop-up dance performances by Black Irish
  • Fire and Ariel performances from Phoenix Rising productions
  • Custom Halloween art work by Ron Liberti
  • Graffiti installations by Matthew Curran, Derek Toomes, Sean Kernick and friends
  • Horror Films by Rob Underhill
  • Video art projections by Yuxtapongo and much more!

Set in downtown Raleigh’s coolest museum space surrounded by cutting edge art, both inside and outside. This is the party you should be SCARED to miss. The madness starts at 8pm. Tickets are just $15 for CAM/now members, $25 for CAM Raleigh museum members and $30 for non-members. Must be 21+ to attend. Both CAM/now and CAM Raleigh members are also invited to attend the exclusive VIP pre-party event (from 7-8pm) for even more delicious catered food, free drinks and other fun surprises.
