This past Saturday, April 11th COMUNE hosted Everything Went Black, a photography show by Jimmy Fontaine featuring a culmination of his work and series of portraits documenting a span of punk shows, fashion, music and skate culture. Over 450 enthusiasts, industry veterans and fashion savvy aficionados alike were in attendance to check out his work and enjoy the bottomless supply of Pabst Blue Ribbon and pizza bites by Frank Delgadillo’s latest endeavour, FLATS.
“This show was a visual diary of my life for the past ten or so years. There are a lot of memories and some of the best times in my life. I hope the future brings more,” states Fontaine.
This was Jimmy’s first solo show at COMUNE as part of the DROP CITY creative platform which is inspired by the early 1960’s artist commune and was introduced to attract like-minded contributors to COMUNE’s artist community. His work can be seen at www.jimmyfontaine.com
