Atlanta powertrash lads Howlies have recently emerged from behind closed doors with a new, virtual 7-inch single, featuring the songs “Tie Me Up, Throw Me Down” b/w “Yer Hell.”

…and it’s free for the taking.

Get the virtual 7-inch

Aside from a brief stint on the road at the beginning of June the group has been on lock-down for a minute, holed up in a warehouse far from the maddening crowd. In the down time they’ve been recording, mixing and self-producing several new jams that they’re planning to release as series leading up to the arrival of their second full-length later this year.

Howlies play the Creative Loafing music issue party at The Star Bar. Sat., June 26 with Balkans, Mermaids, the Coathangers and more. $8. 9 p.m. 437 Moreland Ave. 404-681-9018

and downstairs in the Little Vinyl Lounge
the Spencer Garn/Mark Carbone Duo
(Spencer is the organ player from the Soulphonics &
Mark is the drummer for A Fight to the Death)

As always enjoy ICE COLD PBR for only $2.50 for a 16 oz Can!!!
