the Anti-Civ Records 48-HOUR BAND CONTESTIVAL #7 WILL BE on SATURDAY, NOV 5, 2011 @ the Hexagon Bar!!!!
REGISTRATION WILL BE ON THURSDAY NOV 3 at Yeti Records (35th & Nicollet) from 5-9PM (drawing at 9PM)– details tba regarding musical acts to perform.
YOU should participate! all musicians welcome (all genres and skill levels). You will be matched up with random band-mates from a drawing (1 practice space garunteed per band).
bands will be drawn from a hat at 9PM @ Yeti Records on thursday NOV 3. entrance fee of $5 to keep folks from signing up and then flaking on their new bandmates.
THE SHOW: SATURDAY, NOV 5 @ the Hexagon Bar
The new 48-hr bands will each perform several songs competing for prizes and trophies in front of a panel of celebrity judges! FREE SHOW….this event is always a spectacular blast! Winning bands will receive random PBR hoodies, other swag and gift certificates from Zipp’s for A case of PBR pounders and a bottle of 100 proof bourbon.
