…-The overall series received an Honorable Mention in the 2009 International Photography Awards (Out of 18,000 submissions world wide)
-”The Cult Leader” photo received a top Nominee title in the 4th Annual Photography Masters Cup Color Awards. (Another international competition) P.S. The piece won in the “Nude Category.”
The Pitch:
The art series by Travis and Nate Dorn, chronicles the stories of a few select men, with beards, doing “Man-things”, like digging a hole, cutting hair, taming fire, or eating steak in the bathtub.
The photos are dramatically shot, fun and maybe even a little disturbing. Our subjects are men with notable beards. Some are in well-know bands, others are great filmmakers, editors, outlaws, or famous artists.
